Neutral Christmas Card

Hi there fellow crafters

I have combined the layout and the colour scheme of this card using two challenges. The layout of this card was from Freshly Made Sketches #166 - A Sketch by Karren

And the colour scheme of this card was from The Card Concept Challenge #25 Silent night neutrals

And here's my card for today.
Choosing the clean and graphic style of Card Concept Challenge. I was inspired by the colour scheme. This is the first time that I have used a neutral colour scheme for a christmas card and I would say it turned out beautifully. The patterned papers was from Mistletoe and Gingerbread collection by KAISERCRAFT. Stamp was a freebie from Make Christmas Cards magazine back in 2011. I coloured it in using Tim Holtz Distress Markers. And the ribbon was purchased from a local craftstore.
Thank you for taking the time on reading my blog , hope you enjoyed it!

Im back !

Hi there its Saturday here in Australia. Im back on making christmas cards after a few months of being so busy going back to work and other stuff.

Here's the card that I made. In this card I have used American Crafts cardstock in White for my base . Patterned papers from Kaisercraft Mistletoe Collection. The hollies stamp was from Sullivans and I used Archival Ink by Ranger in Jet Black to stamp these. I colored it in using Distress Markers by Tim Holtz in barn door, worn lipstick , peeled paint and forest moss. I also added a bit of shimmer to it using the Wink of Stella in clear. The round sentiment was from the Kaisercraft Mistletoe collection.

Happy Monday !

Hi there , welcome to my blog today is Monday here in Australia. I been wanting to join the Freshly Made Sketch challenge 157 so I quickly made a card before getting ready for work!

In this card I have used American Crafts cardstock in Pool for my base . Patterned papers from Kaisercraft in Santa's List Collection. I stamp the sentiment using Staz on in Blazing red. The stamp I used was from Sullivans.
I also added some sparkling glue to the little socks , why not ! Christmas is all about sparkles. By the way im not sure where I got the little stocking brad I only found it in my stash , so I apologize for that.

So here is the card!

And here are the small details in the card.

And here is the card layout design by Amy from Freshly Made Sketches

Wedding Anniversary

This week I made a cute and romantic card for my husbands and I wedding anniversary. Instead of traditional anniversary card I went for a more fun and quirky design using Close to my Heart stamp set "Wild About Love".  I used American Cardstock in white , but I apologize for not remembering the cardstock I used for the cardbase. The patterned papers were from Studio Calico.
I used Tim Holtz Distressed Ink in brushed corduroy for stamping the sentiment , versa colour in pink for stamping the female fox and Archival Ink in Library green for stamping the male fox. I also used Staz On in Blazing red for stamping the little heart in the middle topping it with glossy accents for a bit of a shine.

The layout of this card is from Mojo Monday 366 card Sketch challenge.

Christmas is approaching

This is my first entry to Freshly Made Sketches. Cardstocks that I've used are La Carta paper and craft in Bubble , American Crafts cardstock in white. Patterned papers and sentiments are from Kaisercraft "Gingerbread ". I used my big shot to die cut the Scallop Circle using the spellbinders Nestabilities in "Petite Scalloped Circles ".

I definitely had so much fun making this card.
